Pengaruh Courtyard terhadap Kenyamanan Termal pada Rumah Gerbong di Tangerang Selatan

Abstract

ABSTRAK

SOHO atau Small Office Home Office adalah penggabungan fungsi rumah tinggal dan kantor pada satu bangunan. Permasalahan yang kerap terjadi pada SOHO kurang memperhatikan kenyamanan termal bagi pengguna ruang. Kualitas udara pada ruang kerja dapat mempengaruhi produktivitas kerja. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan penghawaan alami atau pendinginan pasif yang baik. Strategi pendinginan pasif yang diterapkan pada rumah gerbong adalah courtyard. Ketiga courtyard memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda- beda dalam menciptakan kenyamanan termal. Ruang-ruang yang tidak berdekatan dengan courtyard belum memenuhi standar kenyamanan termal khususnya ruang kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang didukung kuesioner. Analisis berupa analisis keadaan termal, hubungan kondisi termal eksisting terhadap persepsi pengguna, dan pengaruh pelingkup terhadap kinerja termal courtyard. Setelah itu, diberikan rekomendasi desain pada courtyard yang belum bekerja optimal dan membandingkan pembayangan dengan software sketch up 2017. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu rekomendasi desain berupa penambahan shading device atau planter box pada bukaan di sekitar courtyard sebagai elemen pelindung. Dengan begitu, akan memaksimalkan kinerja courtyard dalam menciptakan kenyamanan termal yang lebih baik sesuai standar pada bangunan seperti SOHO.

ABSTRACT

SOHO or Small Office Home Office is a combination of residential and office functions in one building. The problem that often occurs in SOHO is not paying attention to thermal comfort for space users. Air quality in the workspace can affect work productivity. Therefore, a good natural ventilation with passive cooling strategy is needed. The passive cooling strategy applied in house is courtyard. Each of the three courtyards has a different effect in creating thermal comfort. Some spaces that are not near to the courtyard have not reached the standard of thermal comfort, especially the workspace. This research uses descriptive analysis method with a quantitative approach supported by a questionnaire. The analyses are analysis of the thermal state, the relationship of the existing thermal conditions to user perceptions, and the scoping effect on the thermal performance of the courtyard. Design recommendation is given for courtyard that has not worked optimally and compares the shading with the Sketch Up 2017 software. The results of recommendation are adding a shading device or planter box to the openings around the courtyard as a protective element. Then, it will maximize the performance of the courtyard in creating better thermal comfort according to the standards in buildings such as SOHO.
